Taking advantage of water treatments: (cont)
First begin with the dry sauna or steam room. The dry sauna is approximately 170 degrees and should be used in two sessions of ten to fifteen minutes each. The steam room is approximately 120 degrees and the moist air of the steam room will agree with some body types more than others. Follow the sauna or steam room with a cold plunge or a cool shower to stimulate your circulatory system. The cold pool is kept at an invigorating 55 degrees.
A resting period is recommended before entering the final hot pool. This large heated pool is kept at 104 degrees for the warming portion of your relaxing and blissful bathing ritual. However, if you wish, you may repeat the cold and warm plunges again, as it stimulates the lymphatic system of the body.
The water area is a peaceful, quiet time for people to re-connect with their spirits.
